The Opportunity

A rare and exciting opportunity to lead the gardens of one of Jersey’s most prestigious private homes.

Set within approximately 16 acres, the estate includes a rich mix of formal and informal gardens—herbaceous and shrub borders, hedging, lawns, terraces, woodland, and a traditional walled kitchen garden.

Under new ownership, there is a clear ambition to evolve and elevate the garden significantly by working in collaboration with a leading landscape architect. This role offers the chance not only to maintain, but to shape and define a garden of genuine distinction over time.

The Role

Reporting to the owners and Estate Manager, you will take full responsibility for the management, development, and presentation of the gardens to an exceptional standard.

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining daily horticultural excellence with long-term vision. You will manage and develop a small team, while also working closely with the owners to implement ongoing improvements and enhancements.

In addition, the role will incorporate broader estate responsibilities, including oversight of general property maintenance, coordination of external contractors, and contributing to the smooth and secure running of the estate.
