Pastries and Politics is a morning networking event for businesses and people working in St Helier, offering an opportunity to meet newly elected States Members over refreshments. Attendees can share their experiences of living and working in Jersey, raise issues and discuss ideas directly with elected representatives.
The session begins with arrival from 8.00 am, followed by a short welcome and introduction at 8.15 am. From 8.20 am until 9.30 am, the format is informal, with time set aside for conversations with States Members about local working and community life.
The event forms part of Jersey’s Democracy Week 2026, which runs from 19 to 26 September and includes activities designed to help Islanders engage with the States Assembly and Jersey’s political system.
