Le Tacheron Farm in Trinity hosts Jersey Farmers Markets every other Saturday, bringing island farmers and producers together in the farmyard for a morning of local food and seasonal shopping.
Visitors can pick up bread from the farm’s on-site bakery alongside local meat, eggs, flowers, fruit and vegetables. Hot food and coffee are also available, with the market providing an opportunity to meet the people producing and growing food in Jersey.
There is plenty to make a morning of it beyond the market stalls. The farm is home to rare breed animals including pygmy goats, baby lambs and working horses, while live music and records add to the atmosphere. Entry is free.
