The Jersey Festival of Words 2025 is back from 19 to 28 September, and this year is extra special — it’s the festival’s 10th birthday. For ten days, venues across the island will come alive with authors, poets, illustrators, and performers sharing their words and ideas. With more than 65 events, including talks, readings, workshops, and family fun, there’s something for everyone — whether you’re a book lover, a curious listener, or just looking for a great day out. Big names like Brian Bilston, Axel Scheffler, Mick Herron, and Kate Mosse are on the line-up, alongside local voices and new discoveries.

Best of all, over half the events are completely free, making it the perfect chance to dive into the world of books and stories, wherever you are on your reading journey.
