The Very Hungry Caterpillar Trail

Prepare to be transformed into the beautiful world of Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar™, as he is brought to life across Jersey Zoo this summer.

This family-friendly trail will enable visitors to follow the iconic caterpillar, as he journeys through the natural world. Trail goers will get to crawl, climb and capture their way through life-sized depictions of this world-renowned book.

As well as large 2-metre-high pop ups, the trail will also feature accompanying QR and augmented reality codes, as well as activities and games to help children with their days of the week, counting and understanding the life cycle of a butterfly. 

The Very Hungry Caterpillar trail is free with zoo admission.
