The Summer Flower & Produce Show

Summer Flower Show

Every year in late August, the Royal Jersey Horticultural Society hosts the Summer Flower and Produce Show for agricultural enthusiasts. The event includes a Jersey Poultry and Ornithological show which exhibits poultry, small cage birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and more.

Visit to experience the flower arrangement competition, showcases of the best Jersey produce, fantastic cake competitions and charity auctions.

Take a stroll around the local stalls and enjoy the wonderful weather Jersey has to offer. Browse handmade jewellery, handmade garments, garden machinery, greeting cards, aloe vera products, garden gnomes, sewing accessories and more.

The show typically houses an exhibition of individual work from the St. Clements Battle of the Flowers float. Here you'll be able to see its intricate detail up close. You can also take fun classes to learn more about flower cutting, potting plants, fruits, vegetables, floral arrangements and cake making.

For those interested in vintage motors, look out for the display of Jersey's classic cars that will be ready for the paparazzi. Society items are available to buy as well as refreshments, coffee, Jersey ice cream and Jersey Wonders — rich twisted doughnuts that are popular at Jersey fairs and festivals.

For more information on the prices, location and time, visit the Jersey Tourism website or contact the Royal Jersey Agricultural & Horticultural Society.
