Join us for our first-ever Campervan Convoy & Campout + Day Event at the Waterplash - a fun, family-friendly event embracing our coastal community & culture, celebrating the work of Healing Waves Ocean Therapy.
The Day at a Glance:
- The Convoy (10:15-11:50): We’ll meet at La Pulente before setting off with a front police escort along Five Mile Road, through St Ouen’s Village, St Peter’s, and back to the west coast.
- The Day-Event (Free entry & open to all): We finish up at The Watersplash at 12:00 for a day event (12:00-22:00) including a fantastic array of local musical talents, face painting & festival glitter, Surf Simulator, skate & Ju Jitsu lessons and a world class sunset spot! The Watersplash will be hosting a BBQ Lunch so make sure to grab yourself a ticket to enjoy the feast!
- Overnight Camping: Pre-booked campervans get a spot right by the coast, plus complimentary tea & coffee from the Watersplash team in the AM.
Campervan Convoy & Campout 2026: Terms & Conditions
Welcome to the Campervan Convoy 2026, organised by Healing Waves (Jersey Charity #218) and supported by The Watersplash & Mailmate. By registering for this event via RaceNation, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable event for everyone.
1. Registration:
- Accuracy of Information: All details submitted via RaceNation—including vehicle registration, dimensions, and owner contact information—must be accurate.
- Access Control: Access to designated convoy staging areas and overnight camping zones is restricted strictly to vehicles displaying valid event passes and participants wearing official event wristbands.
- Transfers & Refunds: Entry fees support Healing Waves and are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organisers.
2. Convoy Operations & Driver Compliance:
- Staggered Departure: Participants must arrive at their allocated La Pulente car park at 9:45. You will receive you event pack including further information on the Campervan Convoy & Camp Out in advance. Vehicles will depart in managed waves of 25 under police escort.
- Route: The convoy route travels along Five Mile Road, through St Ouen’s Village, St Peter’s, and back down and along the west coast past Jersey Pearl, left up Rue des Pres and right up le Hurel driving through Les Pres D’Auvergne car park and finishing at the Watersplash.
- Drivers must hold a valid driving license and ensure their vehicle is fully road-legal (insured, taxed, and roadworthy) under Jersey law.
- Drivers are solely responsible for obeying all traffic laws throughout the convoy. Healing Waves accepts no liability for traffic violations, accidents, or fines.
- Vehicle Decorations: Flags and decorations are encouraged but must be secured safely. They must not obstruct the driver’s vision, extend dangerously past the vehicle width, or pose a hazard to other road users.
- Size Limits: Overnight camping is strictly limited to campervans up to 7m long. Vehicles over 4-berth capacity or larger (e.g., P30 size and above) cannot be accommodated due to site constraints.
3. Overnight Camping Rules (Gas & Fire Safety):
- Gas Canisters: All gas canisters must be fully disconnected and removed from the vehicle before arrival at the event. Compliance must be declared during online registration & will be checked upon arrival.
- Naked Flames & Cooking: No cooking, gas appliances, open fires, BBQs, charcoal, field kitchens, or naked flames are permitted anywhere on site at any time.
- Site Vacancy: Overnight campers are invited to enjoy complimentary morning tea and coffee provided by the Watersplash and must vacate the campsite by 10:00 AM on the morning following the event.
4. Code of Conduct & Site Rules:
- Alcohol Policy: Consumption of alcohol within the La Pulente and Watersplash car parks is strictly prohibited.
- Curfew & Environment: Event activities finish at 22:00 to allow for a peaceful overnight stay (there is no Splash Club Night). Participants must respect fellow campers, marshals, security staff, and local residents. Overnight security will be provided by Atlantic Security.
- Pet Policy: Dogs and well-behaved pets are permitted on site. Pets must be kept on a lead at all times, controlled responsibly, and cleaned up after immediately.
- Waste & Litter: Participants must leave the venue as they found it by using the bins provided or taking all litter home.
5. Media & Photography:
By participating in the Campervan Convoy & Campout, you grant Healing Waves permission to capture and use photographs, video footage, and audio recordings of your vehicle and party for marketing, promotional, and media purposes.
If you or a minor in your care do not wish to be photographed, please notify Healing Waves (hello@healingwaves.org.je) or upon arrival.
6. Event Alterations & Liability:
- Event Changes: Healing Waves reserves the right to adjust the convoy route, schedule, or cancel the event due to severe weather, safety concerns, or instructions from the States of Jersey Police or Honorary Police.
- Personal Property: Healing Waves, event marshals, Atlantic Security, and partner venues (including the Watersplash) accept no liability for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles, personal property, or belongings brought to the event.
