About this Event

Discover the story of the Vallée des Vaux on a guided walk led by the National Trust for Jersey. The valley was the first piece of land given to the Trust, donated by founding member Carlyle Le Gallais after his family helped protect it from development.

Participants will meet Sue Le Gallais, Carlyle Le Gallais’s granddaughter and a former president of the National Trust for Jersey. She will share the family history behind the gift and explain how other local families later helped preserve more of the valley.

The walk forms part of the National Trust for Jersey’s 90th anniversary celebrations. Attendees should dress for the weather and wear suitable walking footwear.
