This guided war walk begins at St Brelade’s Bay Hotel and follows a coastal route shaped by Jersey’s military past. Led by professional tour guide Alan Ley, the walk focuses on historical sites linked to the island’s wartime period, with commentary throughout the route.
Participants will pass a number of military installations while taking in elevated coastal views. The walk also includes the opportunity to visit a World War II German Occupation bunker, offering a closer look at the structures and conditions from that period.
This is a one-way cliff walk lasting around four hours. The route includes several steep footpaths and requires a reasonable level of mobility. The bunker visit may involve navigating a tunnel and ladder, depending on access arrangements.
