BEHOLDING BRINGS BECOMING
Photo Exhibition - Anna Houiellebecq
In 2019 Anna travelled through the breathtaking country of Nepal and was astounded by the beauty of the country and the people who called it home. She fell in love straight away and knew there was something there that she wanted to capture. This exhibition is a visual display of people and communities that have a story to be shared.
50% of all profit that is made through this exhibition, either by selling prints of images, or photo books, will be given to the business that Anna worked alongside in Nepal. This business is called Five14 and is an Adventure company that aims at preventing exploitation through ethical business.
About the Artist
My name is Anna Houiellebecq and I use my skills in photography to document the people and places I see throughout my travels. I love meeting and getting to know people from different backgrounds and cultures, and believe they all have something powerful and unique to share. My aim with photography is to become a story teller. I strive to see the beauty in the places and people that I meet, and to listen and to learn from my experiences. I want to use my love of photography to give a voice to those who don't have the opportunity to use theirs. I take a very artistic approach to my images and believe I have a very unique way of capturing the world. I am a visionary, capturing the truth, the beauty, the spirit and the unknown.
