How do I add a classified advert to Jersey Insight?
To add a classified advert you will need to be a registered user and logged in.

1. Register / Login
2. Go to the classifieds section
3. Go to the sub section that you wish to place the advert in
4. Click on the ‘click here to place an advert’ button
5. Fill out the form
6. Press save

Why can't I add a picture to my classified ad?
Images need to be in JPEG or GIF format, any other format simply won’t work. The file could be too big - try re-sizing it to 280 pixels wide.
 
How do I remove an advert?
You need to log in, you will then see a blue link titled 'My Classifieds' underneath your name. Click on this link and it will bring up all adverts belonging to you. Click on the advert and you will see a delete link at the top of the advert.
 
I am locked out
Shut down your internet window and then re-open it. This will re-set you.

I can't remember my user name or password details
Click on the lost password link and supply the email address that you used to register. This will email you with both details.

I cannot upload an advert
It is often the image that causes this problem. Try saving the advert without the image and then going back to edit the advert to add the image, making sure you follow the guidelines above.

Where have the webcams gone?
We have had to remove the webcams, but are looking to make several new additions in 2010 to make up for this.

How do I advertise my event?
You can advertise your event free under 'What's On'.  You need to log in, go to the 'What's On' section and at the top of the orange column on the right hand side there is a link that says 'Click here to add an event'.

Directory section enquiries
The directory section on the site is managed and administered by the Jersey Telecom Information Services team, and all queries relating to this should be directed to them. They can be contacted on 0800 735 2508 or click on about directories in the directory section.

Jersey Mail:
Jersey Insight only provide the facility for users to login to Jersey Mail and have nothing to do with the operation, performace or support of the service. Jersey Post own and manage Jersey Mail and all enquiries are handled by the Jersey Mail Helpdesk on 0905 629 1234 (N.B. Calls are charged at £1 per min from a standard land line).
